Kawarimono selection

The Kawarimono group comprises several koi varieties that cannot be assigned to any other existing variety. A distinction is made between single-coloured and multi-coloured Kawarimono.

Popular single-coloured Kawarimono include Chagoi, Benigoi, Kigoi, Karashigoi and Soragoi. Examples of the multi-coloured members of this group are Ochiba Shigure, Matsukawabake, Hajiro, Kumonryo, or the Matsuba types such as Aka and Koi Matsuba.
